Fallen Ash Scouts Oscar

34" black pinto

Negative for the known ACAN dwarf mutations

Sire: L & D Scout x Dam: Flying W Farms Texas Bluebonnet

L & D Scout x FWF Texas Bluebonnet

We were thrilled when the opportunity to add an L & D Scout son to our breeding program came about. This is a line we had wanted to incorporate into our breeding program for a number of years. Oz proved it was worth the wait to get a SON not a grandson! We LOVE the sons/daughters from him and have retained a selection for our own breeding program.

Ozzie is sired by the famous L & D Scout out of the prolific producer FWF Texas Bluebonnet - one of those dynamo prized mares. So, he has it all - National Top Ten and Hall of Fame with AMHR; proven sire; great pedigree (his sire is still in the top five AMHA Futurity Producers); all wrapped up in beautiful Mini with solid conformation and lovely movement.

Although only lightly bred over the years, Oz has proven he can stand up to his pedigree. Sire of outstanding foals (his son Westwinds Scouts Tiz N Honor is establishing himself in the Netherlands as a top sire), and grandsire to Minis cleaning up in the European shows. Another son, Westwinds Scouts Spotz N Honor is a succesful stud at Aungst Arces LLC. His son, Duck (Wesco Farms Ozs Luck of the Draw, is doing well in the show ring and began his CDE career this year.

Here's Oz on May 9, 2019. Fit and ready to go! He broke a hose in his pen earlier so played in the mud a bit!

We've been thrilled with the foals we've had from OZ, and are retaining a couple of his daughters for our breeding program. They're crossing well with Topper (WCR Top Cop) and we hope will do the same with Ozzie 2(First Knights Wizard of Oz). We also have his son, Dixon (Wesco Farms Ozs Venetian Agenda), that we are planning to test breed to a couple of mares for 2020.
So, if you're looking to add the coveted L&D Scout to your breeding program, you can't beat this guy. Proven sire, great pedigree, show record and easy to handle. He would do better in a 'solo' stallion home. He's not stallion friendly, but otherwise is super easy and respectful of people.

Happy Ozzie in 2017, ready for the ladies!
